The Preseason Finale

As we approach tonight's game versus the Seattle Seahwaks, the one big question is will we go 5-0 in the preseason for the first time in franchise history?

I think we will. I know our starters won't be on the field for more than a drive or two but our backups and our backup's backups have played very well thus far in the preseason. This will be a game that Andrew Walter will get more extensive playing time. We will be able to see if he can lead us to our 5-0 preseason mark. The other interesting thing to see in this game is how much playing time Marques Tuiasosopo and Jeff George will get. Which guy will be our number three QB heading into the regular season?

Our critics will say that the preseason is meaningless and that our record will not be indicative of our regular season play. They may be right but they are most likely wrong. It was important for us to put up a solid preseason this year because we haven't been a winning team for three years. Winning brings a much different attitude to a locker room even if it is in the preseason.

A side note
If you want to watch the game but can't get it on your TV, check out the TVU player. It's available for free at download.com. Just go to the site and search for TVU player and download it. It's a pretty big file and might take some time depending on your internet connection. Once you have it you can check out the channel guide at viidoo.com. Tonight's game will be on the FOX channel.
