The Raiders Offense is Taking Off

Training Camp
In the latest Training Camp blog post, Jerry McDonald has an article called Physical, but not physical enough. He praised Shell for running the "Pit" drill but then critisized him for only doing it once. I understand why he says this but I think just because we aren't running the drill again, doesn't mean that other aspects of our practices aren't physical enough. There were a couple of things that really stood out in my mind in yesterday's practice. The first being Jano connecting on 6 out of 7 field goals and the other being the offense going 5 for 8 in goal line situations. It looks like our offense is finally taking off.

Hall of Fame Game
The Hall of Fame Game is approaching. It will take place on August 6th in Canton, Ohio. Kickoff is at 8:00 PM EST and the game will be aired on NBC. It's time to finally see how much our Raiders have improved.

I hope so but to be completely honest, I don't think so. We made a lot of changes and it will take some time before our team gets rolling. We just got lucky that we are getting 5 preseason games this offseason.
