Three Observations

Questionable Coaching may have been a factor in our loss to the 49ers.

1) When Justin Fargas starting running well, why did we quit giving him the ball and start giving it to Jordan again? Fargas carried the ball 8 times for 63 yards with a long rush of 19 yards. That's nearly 8 yards per carry.

2) Why was Andrew Walter pulled out of the game? Walter had a couple of bad plays but it was the second start of his career. Late in the game would have been a very good experience for him and I believe Tui is in his last season with the Silver and Black.

3) One real positive I have noticed this season is the improved tackling by Schweigert. It is disapointing when our free safety has to tackle the running back but Schweigert was consistently making good tackles, which he hadn't done the last two seasons.

0-4 isn't a good place to be but we have some young and talented players who seem to be starting to step up which makes our future look a little brighter.

Man who are you kidding, i saw alot more than that. (1) Our head coach too busy doodling on that stupid clipboard to pay attenion to the game when Madson's catch was a catch and no challenge, (2)the red flag does come out on the laterual which was clearly a backward pass and our great running back gave up on it, anyone knew we would loose that one, Art Shell was a great player but i think he's taking the team in the wrong direction as HC and it's looking more and more like 0-16 this season and I'm sorry but i don't feel optmistic at all right now but i will stay the course but i feel i must state my opinion and i think the Donkeys are going to stomp us Sunday nite.

Les
Remember Jimmy Johnson's 1st season with the Cowboy's, 1-15.
Just about the same type of team also. Very young raiders with Art Shell will turn it around. But it's going to take a few seasons.
0-16? I would bet my retirement that it won't happen, we will win 4 to 6 games.

Besides Fargas and Walter. Why did Art leave in Walker after 3 stupid penalties. Art has to pull someone out of the game while its in progress. The players think there is no consequence for making errors. Schweigert needs to keep working and keep his mouth shut, because he has made far more errors then good plays. Schweigert, try helping the corners on deep routes. they are always looking for help from you but your never there. When you see the corners looking around you they were lookihng for Schweigert...

Dude. 0-5. Broncos are 4-1 and to make it even better, they beat your little ass tonight. Turned you over, pulled your pants down and beat your naked little ass. I win. You lose. Broncos are better than the Raiders. Game over. Predicion: 0-6. Do you realize you have lost 10 games in a row? Your team is the only team in the NFL without a single win. Bronco Country made the Raiders their personal bitch tonight. Now go get your master a juice box bitch!

remember when you bad-mouthed me back in July...well, here's a post for you that you should enjoy...

If you recall I made NFL predictions back in July and projected the Raiders to finish last.

Hardly shocking news. However, "The Analyzer" disagreed and shot back with this gem:

"There is absolutely no reason to have the Raiders going 6-10. They could very easily end up with a 10 win season if Brooks pans out. The Chargers will be the last place team in the division with Rivers at the helm."

In a second post he came up with these great calls:

"Randy Moss and Jerry Porter will have big seasons."
"Here is how the Raiders will win 10 games."

And my favorite:

"DON'T IGNORE US OR YOU'LL BE SORRY!"....HA!

Uh, for those not following the NFL this season, the Raiders are making a good case for being one of the worst teams of all-time, are 0-5 and seem to have a legitimate shot at going winless.

Moss has been terrible and Porter has been on the bench all season for disciplinary reasons. And the guy the Analyzer built his bold claims around? None other than Aaron Brooks! The same Aaron Brooks who was atrocious with the Saints last year (boy, the Saints really miss him) and the same Aaron Brooks who fumbled and bumbled his way through a 27-0 opening-night loss to the Chargers and was fubmling around against the Ravesn before getting hurt in Week 2.

Wow, way to put me in my place Analyzer! You really called that one! Good call on the Chargers as well. You really showed some keen football intellect when you popped off about how the Raiders were going to be so great.

I bow to your superior football intellect.
p.s. He also said Phillip Rivers is the next Ryan Leaf...wow, you really know your stuff!

National Televised Monday Night Football names the Oakland Raiders "Irrevelant". That is the hardest pill any NFL team has had to swallow. You can be a poor team, even a bad team, even the WORST team, but irrevelant? Wow. Looks like another great year for the NFL's worst team since the 80's. Even I had no idea that the Raiders would not only suck this year but be the worst NFL team in NFL history. Almost broke as many records for sucking this year as records for good stuff in the 70's. Sucks to be you. Irrevelant! Wow.
